SPRING

Our spring show is three to four weeks in April. We feature lots of twigs, metal, burlap and birds in natural designs to compliment any home setting. We attend the Minneapolis Mart in January of each year, where we find new ideas and merchandise for our spring event. We shop additional wholesale and craft shows throughout the year to bring current trends to the shop.

FALL

Our autumn show is the favorite of many, especially those who like pie. We kick off the event the Friday and Saturday of Labor Day Weekend with Pie on the Porch graciously hosted by Friends of Lanark Public Library. Enjoy scrumptious pie with fresh coffee or iced tea on the spacious open porch of our Victorian home.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll about the landscaped grounds, lush with flowers, on which our home and shop are situated.

While pie on the porch is only the first Friday and Saturday of the Fall Show, the shop is open one or two additional weekends in September and filled with everything autumn as well as all-season designs to adorn your home.

Our holiday event, beginning the first weekend of November, pulls out all the stops as decorated trees, wreaths, door swags, centerpieces, lighted arrangements, snowmen, angels, and more fill the shop in delightful themed vignettes. Often the decor is so plentiful that we need to expand available floor space to accommodate the increased inventory and our welcomed visitors!

Guests are greeted with homemade cookies, coffee, hot cocoa, music, and the wonderful scent of handcrafted candles. When you’re finished shopping, we’ll happily direct you to more local area shops hosting their individual holiday open houses in conjunction with our holiday celebration event at Picket Fence.

Our holiday show continues Fridays and Saturdays in November, and weather permitting, we often remain open for the first weekend in December.

Our shows are attended by a large tri-state customer base from northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin, and eastern Iowa. If you prefer to avoid crowds, we suggest you come the second weekend or later of our scheduled events. On the other hand, if you wish to see every one of a kind creation before it’s purchased, you’re a first weekend kind of person and we’ll do our best to serve you during all the excitement of opening weekend!
